What is a Negative Prompt?
A negative prompt is the opposite of a regular prompt. Instead of telling the AI what you want, you list things you do not want in the output: blurry faces, extra fingers, watermarks, on-screen text, unwanted objects, certain styles.
Why Negative Prompts Matter
- Quality control: Reduce artifacts and common failure modes.
- Brand safety: Keep competing logos, copyrighted characters, or unsafe content out of generated clips.
- Style focus: Push the model away from styles or aesthetics you do not want.
How to Write a Good Negative Prompt
- Start with the defaults our app already provides — they cover the most common issues.
- Add things specific to your scene: "no crowd in the background", "no subtitles", "no car".
- Keep it short and concrete. Long lists of unrelated words can confuse the model.
- Reuse negative prompts across similar generations; tuning them is iterative.

- For product shots: "no hands, no other products, no cluttered background, no text"
- For cinematic scenes: "no cartoon style, no anime, no low resolution, no overexposed lighting"
